Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI) are truncated domes/bars installed on the ground,to assist blind and vision impaired pedestrians, and for directional guidance & hazard warning.

Warning tactile indicator is the shape of the raised dot and each an array of upwardly extending protrusions for role of warning passers-by.Alert passers-by to the danger before proceeding.

Directional tactile indicator is the shape of the strip, which is particularly suitable for guiding blind and vision impaired pedestrians.Guiding the way forward until reach destination.

This system of textured ground surface indicators found on many footpaths, stairs, shopping malls, airports and train station platforms.It can be installed on many indoor or outdoor which are not only aesthetically pleasing but also provide a safety warning for pedestrians.

Depending on the choice of tactile indicator studs/strips, with pin or without pin.The installation process is different.

If choose the tactile indicator with pin,the installation steps are as follows:
1.Need to drill the holes by electric drill.
2.After drilling the holes, to ensure the solidity of detectable warnings products installation.it is necessary to use an industrial hoover to suck out the dust from the holes and clean them.
3.Drip some industrial glue into the cleaned hole.
4.Insert the tactile indicator studs or strips into the holes and give the top of the tactile indicators a few taps with a mallet to increase the fixity of the installation.
5.Finish.

If choose the tactile indicator without pin,the installation steps are as follows:
1.Need to clean the ground which install tactile indicator without pin.
2.Laying the formwork on the ground to guide the installation of the tactiles.
3.Remove the protective adhesive backing sticker from the back of the tactile paving.
4.Installation according to the laid out installation template.
5.Give the top of the tactile indicators a few taps with a mallet to increase the fixity of the installation.
6.Finish.

If outdoor application,we suggest you can use stainless steel tactile indicators.The stainless steel Tactile Indicators can be selected from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, which has an aesthetic appearance and also has a very high abrasion resistance and slip resistance. It is a very good choice for an outdoor tactile paving.
